Whisper

Dear child,

Your ears are open, but none hears. I told you everyday, but you did not listen. You have refused to pay attention. You have stiffened your neck, and turned a stubborn shoulder and stopped your ears from hearing.

You have seen many things, but you do not observe them. I have showed you in a thousand ways, but you have closed your eyes, otherwise you would see.

Why have you become dull of hearing? Why do you ignore me? Why do you seem too busy to listen? How loudly must I whisper again?
