Never worry

Never worry about anything. Instead, in every situation let your petitions be made known to God through prayers and requests, with thanksgiving. Then God’s peace, which goes far beyond anything we can imagine, will guard your hearts and minds in union with the Messiah Jesus. — Philippians 4:6-7

Many a times we find ourselves in situations where worry is a constant struggle. We all have that untold story of a most frightening experience in life. Our hearts are so troubled when things are difficult and circumstances begin to overwhelm us.

We’re distracted with pain, discomfort, distress, fear and suffering in our lives when the future seems ominous. And you keep wondering if you would make it which does or almost drives us crazy.

But then as christians, however, in the middle of struggles, worries and fear of this deeply unsettled world that we live in, we have Hope. Because our Savior is alive and He cares for us. When we seek the kingdom of God and it righteousness first, fixing our eyes on Jesus , all our fear and worry dissipates.

When we are anxious, we put our trust in God. For we know and believe that He has “plans to give us a hope and a future”. We cast all our burden on Him in the midst of trouble and He sustains us. He gives us strength in hard times. The lord is our helper. Only He keeps us truly safe.

We experience God’s supernatural peace when we place our confidence in Him alone. He gives us peace. The peace which passes all understanding, promised to guard all those who pray– with thanksgiving — about everything.

Let us remember that our Father is in control — so — Do not worry, be calm.
